Learn the Basics — 10:30 AM–12:30 PM
New to American Mahjong? This relaxed beginner session is designed to teach you just enough to start playing the game. We’ll go over the tiles, the card, basic rules, the Charleston, and how a hand comes together. You do not need any prior Mahjong experience. The goal is not to master everything in one class — it’s to help you feel comfortable enough to begin playing and learning as you go.
Open Play — 1:00 PM–3:00 PM
For players who already have experience playing American Mahjong. This is a social open-play session and is not a beginner lesson. Players should already understand the basic rules, how to use the card, the Charleston, and the flow of the game.
